Right off the bat, there’s the rebirth of a historic whiskey label, first introduced on ceramic jugs in 1866 by Italian immigrant Domenico Canale as part of a fledgling grocery distribution business that would feed Mid-Southerners for generations. The Old Dominick Distillery opened in 2017 and produces a variety of spirits. The Huling Station label is produced by MGP, using a custom mash bill. The Canale’s were able to convince Alex Castle to join their team as the Master Distiller after she previously worked as a Distillery Supervisor for Wild Turkey.Throughout the distillery, the design team was challenged to blend the aesthetic of the existing, industrial machine warehouse and technical distilling process with turn-of-the-century traditional elegance.
